Man Kiiled By Wife’s Relatives For Biting Her Nose

The man in the picture above was a Purchasing Officer with the University of Calabar, Cross River State, until he met his untimely death. Identified as Mr. John Odu, he is reported to have being lynched by his wife’s relatives after a marital squabble during which he bit her nose.

Prior to his death, the relationship between the spouses had plummeted as a result of frequent quarreling, and the two fast becoming irreconciliable. It was during one of these fights on August 17 2012, that he bit his wife’s nose in other to free himself from excruciating pain inflicted by his wife, who grabbed his penis and refused to let go. After the unfortunate incident, John took her wife to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital where she was admitted, and the nostril was stitched.

On his way from the hospital the following day, he was accosted by some members of his wife’s family who descended on him, and beat him till he lost consciousness. They then left him for dead, in a pool of his blood.

Good samaritans who found John attempted to save his life by taking him to the hospital, but he didn’t make it. His remains have since been deposited at UCTH’s morgue.

Damnn this is just soo tragic
